North Korea Propaganda

North Korea is a weird place. No doubt about that, but we are so quick to judge a culture that doesn't have the same traditions or ethics that we do, rather than accept it. We as a society are brainwashed by the media as to what truly happens in other countries including North Korea. We don't just do this to North Korea, we exploit literally every other country in the world except for us. (North America) The leaders of North Korea have created a system that "protects" them from the outside world. They don't let anyone into their country. What's with that? What are they hiding?

Even though half of the stuff that is told to us in the media is probably over exaggerated or a straight up lie, the man who went there as a foreigner couldn't even prove that North Korea is not what it seems other than in interviews of their citizens. We don't know the truth, the media doesn't know the truth, most of the people in North Korea don't even know the truth. What is the truth?

What I could say about North Korea is that they have some big scary, crazy leader who wanted to bomb movie theaters three years ago, and they are capable of starting a nuclear war, I think. That sounds pretty scary right? This may not be the case but I feel like it's pretty much true. Am I brainwashed by the media?
Yeah probably.
